As a Curion panelist, you can earn money by participating in paid market research studies. You can also win digital gift cards through our regular contests! Contest winners are awarded virtual gift cards that range from $25 - $250. This guide details each contest and explains how to participate and win.
What Contests Does Curion Offer?
Curion has contests running every week, month, and quarter (three months).

Weekly Social Media Contests
How can I participate?
Each week, Curion posts a “This or That” contest on our Instagram and Facebook accounts. Here's how to participate:
- Follow Curion's Instagram or Facebook.
- Like, comment, and tag a friend in the post.
How are winners notified?
Every Friday, we use an online randomizer to choose one winner. We announce winners publicly in a dedicated post on our Instagram and Facebook. We share the winner’s name in the post caption and instruct them to direct message us with their email address. We are then able to reply to their DM and let them know their gift card will arrive in their email inbox within 5 business days. Winners must be active Curion panelists and must DM us within 30 days.
We never ask for your credit card information, and we don’t use the comments section to tell winners they’ve won. Be cautious of suspicious accounts, comments, or messages claiming to be from Curion. Report any suspicious activity to Facebook and our customer service team.
Monthly 5x DQ Contest
How can I participate?
The 5x DQ contest rewards you for your time spent taking screener surveys. We realize that you may not always qualify for a study, however we want to reward you for your time. If you do not qualify for 5 studies in a calendar month, you’re automatically entered in our 5x DQ contest.
How are winners notified?
At the end of each month, we give away $500 total in pre-paid Visa gift cards to 5x DQ winners. We randomly chose two winners from each Curion market (Deerfield, IL, Old Bridge, NJ, Redwood City, CA, Irving, TX, and Atlanta, GA). Each of the 10 winners is awarded a $50 digital gift card. Winners will be notified via email within 15 days of the close of the month.
Quarterly Refer a Friend Contest
How can I participate?
With Curion's quarterly "Refer a Friend" Contest, panelists have a chance to win $250 for themselves and $250 for a friend!
There are two ways to enter:
1. Send invitation emails from your panelist portal:
- Log into your panelist portal.
- Go to the menu in the top right corner.
- Go to My Profile, scroll down, and click Refer a Friend.
- Enter a friend or family member’s info and your info. We’ll send them an invite email.
- When your friend gets the email, they’ll click a link to register.
- After registering, they'll get a confirmation email with a link.
- From that link, they'll create an account password.
- They’ll take their first screener survey.
- You’re both automatically entered!
2. Have your friends tell us you referred them:
- When your friend registers as a new panelist, they’ll be asked how they heard about us.
- They can answer “Referral,” then enter your name and the email address you use for Curion.
- After registering, they'll get a confirmation email with a link.
- From that link, they'll create an account password.
- They’ll take their first screener survey.
- You’re both automatically entered!
Refer as many friends as you want. Each one is a new entry for you into our contest. To be eligible, both you and your referee must be active Curion panelists who have completed at least one screener survey in the past three months. One pair of winners is chosen at the end of each contest period.
How are winners notified?
Every 90 days, we randomly select a pair of friends from the list of entries and send each of them a $250 digital gift card via email.
If chosen as the winner, you will be notified via email within 15 days of the end of the contest period. Winners are notified each April, July, October, and January.
