Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor
The Curion Halloween Costume Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by Curion (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and are active Curion panelists.
Employees of Curion, its affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising or promotion agencies, as well as their immediate family and household members, are not eligible to participate.
Children and pets may appear in submitted costume photos, but the entry must be submitted by an eligible adult Curion panelist.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 12:00 AM Central Time and ends at 12:59 PM Central Time on Sunday, November 1, 2026 (“Contest Period”).
Only eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be considered.
4. How to Enter
To enter the Curion Halloween Costume Contest:
- Participants must be an active Curion panelist in order to be eligible to win.
- Take a photo featuring yourself, your child, or your pet in a Halloween costume.
- Include something visibly associated with Curion in the photo. Examples include a Curion sign at a Curion facility, a Curion business card, a Curion-branded item, or another clearly identifiable Curion element.
- Post your photo on Facebook or Instagram in accordance with the instructions provided in the official Contest announcement.
- Tag Curion so your entry can be identified.
Entrants may submit one eligible entry on Facebook and one eligible entry on Instagram, for a maximum of two entries per eligible entrant.
Participants are welcome to follow Curion and tag friends who may want to participate, but doing so is not required to enter or win.
5. Contest Categories
Eligible entries may be submitted in one of the following five categories:
- Cutest Costume
- Best Kids Costume
- Best Pet Costume
- Scariest Costume
- Most Original Costume
Each entry must identify the category in which it is being submitted.
6. Winner Selection
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received within each of the five Contest categories, for a total of five winners.
Each eligible entry will be included in the random drawing for the category in which it was submitted.
The five winners will be announced on Monday, November 2, 2026.
7. Prizes
Each of the five winners will receive one $50 prepaid Visa gift card.
The approximate retail value of each prize is $50. The total approximate retail value of all prizes is $250.
No prize substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted.
8. Winner Notification
Winners will be announced on or about Monday, November 2, 2026.
Winners may be notified through a public social media announcement requesting that the winner contact Curion via private message, by email, or in person at a Curion facility, as applicable.
Curion will never ask for credit card information to claim a Contest prize.
If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the time specified by Curion, is determined to be ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, Curion may select an alternate winner at random from the remaining eligible entries in the applicable category.
9. Entry and Content Requirements
Entries must not:
- Infringe upon the rights of any third party.
- Contain inappropriate, offensive, hateful, or unlawful material.
- Promote bigotry, racism, or discrimination.
- Disparage Curion or another person or party.
- Contain content that otherwise violates Curion’s applicable terms or the rules of the social media platform on which it is submitted.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring they have the right and permission to submit the photograph and the permission of individuals depicted in the photograph, as applicable.
10. Submitted Photos and Publicity
By entering, entrants agree to allow Curion to use their name, social media handle, likeness, submitted Contest photo, and other submitted content for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. Privacy
Curion’s Privacy Policy applies to this Contest. Information collected in connection with the Contest may be used to administer the Contest and for other purposes described in Curion’s Privacy Policy.
12. General Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Curion regarding the Contest.
Curion reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest if fraud, technical problems, or other circumstances interfere with the integrity or proper operation of the Contest.
Curion is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or otherwise unsuccessful entries, or for technical malfunctions or other issues that may interfere with participation in the Contest.
13. Facebook and Instagram Disclaimer
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
By participating in the Contest, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from responsibility or liability associated with the Contest.
